Evridiki Papadopoulou & Co produces the famous traditional pasteli which, for decades, has proven to be the favorite treat of passers-by at the Train Station in this small Messenian Town. Ever since 1924, Evridiki Papadopoulou & Co, has produced and packaged the well-known product from Zevgolatio-Messenia. The company now goes on producing the same tasty and pure pasteli for the new and promising KAPA-Evmelin.
Many things have changed since the Midwar period when pasteli was sold at the station and in rural festivals right from a plain board and unpacked. Nowadays, it is sold packaged in accordance with the modern standardization methods. It however remains as tasty and popular as ever and is still a local product originating from Messenia.

THE FACILITIES
The KAPA Evmelin Company registered office is located in Zevgolatio – Messenia. The KAPA Evmelin pasteli is produced and packaged in privately-owned facilities, certified with ISO 22000:2018 (HACCP).
QUALITY AND STANDARDIZATION
KAPA Evmelin's products are suitable for all ages as they contain pure ingredients of excellent quality, with no preservatives.
The owners of the company, being passionate about their product, plan for the future keeping in mind the needs and wishes of their customers as well as European Union strategy which gives priority to the production of quality foods. This is why they chose the application of the HACCP in their factory, a full-fledged system controlling the safety of produced products in food companies that recognizes, assesses and controls all possible dangers at all production stages of the food until the sale of the final product. EVRIDIKI PAPADOPOULOU & Co. was among the first to apply such a system in Messinia.
